Our Mission
RSVP is a National non-profit organization dedicated to matching the talents and interest of volunteers 55 and over with meaningful efforts that improve the quality of our community. RSVP believes in conducting ourselves and our business with integrity and excellence.
We are committed to promoting volunteer service as a way of life, identifying and utilizing the experience of people age 55 and over. Empowering and respecting individuals, developing partnerships that benefit communities, maximizing talent – the combination of ability, skills knowledge and experience – to create a more meaningful whole.
RSVP has been in existence for over 30 years nationwide and has been serving our community for over 20 years. RSVP of Beaver County currently has over 1000 volunteers, 600 of which are active, who amassed an amazing 60,000 hours volunteered in one year, two years in a row.
The Beaver County RSVP works under the umbrella of AAUD (the Aliquippa Alliance for Unity and Development) whose mission statement is to ensure the delivery of human services, workforce development and supplemental public school opportunities for Aliquippa and the surrounding area.
